YES! Your OCD Solutions needs YOU to help make decisions as we transform your space together. Your input ensures that items are kept, donated, or discarded according to your comfort level and preferences.


We can also work independently once the session begins — sending updates, photos, and check-ins as needed. You are welcome to stay the whole time, step out, or leave and come back as much as you want during the session.We’ll keep the process moving smoothly while making sure every decision still reflects your goals. 


If a project requires additional time, extra hours can be added at our standard hourly rate. This will be addressed during the initial consultation. 


During the initial consultation we begin with an Assessment Phase:

  • Identify Your Goals and Priorities: We discuss what success looks like for you—whether it’s clarity, improved functionality, or reduced clutter.
  • Timeline Considerations: Your timeline depends on the project size, volume of items, and your decision-making speed. 
  • Space(s) Walk-Through: We review your space(s) to understand the layout, assess volume, and identify any challenges.
  • Safety and Accessibility: Any potential safety concerns or accessibility issues are identified and addressed promptly.
  • Existing Systems Review: We evaluate functionality of the storage systems and organizational tools currently available on your premises.


Each session typically follows the framework below:

  1. Quick Check-In: We start by re-affirming your goals, checking in on your feelings, and confirming any priorities.
  2. Hands-On Decluttering: This involves sorting and collaborative decision-making to effectively reduce clutter.
  3. Organization: We create tailored systems that are functional and specific to your space.
  4. Review: Finally, we walk through the decluttered area and discuss next steps to ensure the space meets your expectations.


Clients are encouraged to use existing bins, shelves, and containers. If new supplies are needed or recommended, the client may purchase them independently or request sourcing assistance from Your OCD Solutions.


Your OCD Solutions does not haul away donations or trash. We will provide you with resources for donation drop-off centers and trash pick up programs. Your OCD Solutions will also refer any third party providers deemed necessary for the decluttering process.
